WHO IS BEHIND IT
I have been on the other end of that phone call.
I am Greg. For twenty years I was the tradesman who came round to measure up, went away to work out a price, and posted a quote a week later. It is a slow way to sort a small job, for you and for me. Modularr is what I built to fix it.
The making is the part I am sure of. I started as a machinist in a joinery workshop, planing and preparing timber for the joiners, and I have done most of what a building site asks for since, from first fix carpentry to timber framing. The oak boardwalk at Folkestone Harbour is one of mine. My dad, a craftsman, had me building things before I can remember.
Alcove units are the one job I have chosen to master by repetition. Moisture-resistant MDF, cut precisely, routed and sanded by hand, hand painted. When a job needs two pairs of hands, I bring in a joiner I have worked alongside for years.

HOW IT WORKS
Three steps. No site visit to get a price.
1. Measure your alcove: width, height, depth. A tape measure and two minutes.
2. Send them to me. You get a drawing of your unit and a fixed price back, usually the same day.
3. Choose how far I take it: a kit ready for paint, painted, or painted and fitted. Change anything before I cut.
